Sorrow makes us all children again – destroys all differences of intellect.

The activities of this workshop might stir up some deeply rooted emotions. That’s the point. Doing it together, in safe/sacred space, having a witness, and practicing yoga therapy to manage/regulate your nervous system. We need to feel the emotions…otherwise they won’t pass.
Yoga Therapy offers a multi-level perspective on the human body and provides healing opportunities in different and unexpected ways. When unresolved and unexpressed emotions collect all sorts of ailments, dis-ease and dysfunction can occur. Raising our awareness of how our physical/subtle/causal bodies respond to different circumstances can help us remove the unconscious blockages (samskara’s) that cause imbalance and prevent healing.
However, Grief is not like the others….
Grief is not just about people dying. The duration and the intensity of this emotional state can be experienced with any kind of loss. There’s no roadmap for grief. It lives on and shows up in unexpected ways…if we can see it. “Self-observation without Judgement” is our primary practice. What is most needed is: permission & validation for the process.
Here’s the chart for our gathering. The full moon will occur the next day…self-care is our most important activity before the full moon perfects. Please notice that both Mars & Jupiter are in the 29th degrees of their zodiac signs. representing endings of a sort. I’ll be posting more as we get closer. If you want to read more visit me at The World is My Ashram at Substack.
Feels like good timing for our work.

. Regardless of the local weather, you’re traveling thru some dense fog and smokey waters. Meditation/Prayer is the best activity to engage in. If you can find an ashram or retreat center near by, go.
