WHAT TO EXPECT FROM A
PERSONAL FENG SHUI CONSULTATION
It is said among
those who are wise, that the result or outcome of an
endeavor will only be as good as the quality and care taken at the
beginning. And so with that thought in
mind I begin each consultation with establishing an intention for our
work together.
This can be done either on the phone during the initial contact or
on-site at the beginning of our work.
Once the intention has been established the path becomes
clearer.
PART OF MY PERSONAL
PHILOSOPHY:
Many people
confuse the art of Feng Shui with the tips and
techniques used to manifest the changes.
Feng shui, to me, is bigger than that.
It incorporates a rich history along with philosophy
and a perspective
that can be used to guide one’s life. “We
are all connected”, say the Masters that have come before.
And so, we are also connected to our
environments and all that came before in our individual locales. Applying these principles and techniques to
one’s
life is to affirm the connection that we share between each other, our
environment, and the spirit or chi that permeates all.
The Chinese speak of balance as a key to well
being. I find this to be true in my
personal experience. Feng Shui, for me,
has been one of those spiritually inspired subjects that have enabled
me to
create balance in my life. I wish the
same for you.
WHAT HAPPENS
DURING A CONSULTATION AND HOW LONG DOES IT
TAKE?
When people ask me that question I usually
respond with a
question. How long does it take you to make changes in your life? The uniqueness and individuality of each
client determines the content of each session.
Typically a session will include;
- IDENTIFICATION OF
NEEDS (THE INTENTION)
- DETAILED
ANALYSIS OF PRESENT CONDITION (WE EXPLORE YOUR ‘SPACE’)
- ESTABLISHMENT
OF PRIORITIES AND POSSIBILITIES
- EVALUATION
AND FORECAST FOR THE FUTURE
- DEVELOPMENT
OF A PLAN (your information packet)
- SPACE
CLEARING IS AVAILABLE UPON REQUEST
One factor to consider is the size of your space and
how
many people live/work there. I recommend
a minimum of 2 hours for the initial consultation.
It is very helpful if you have a sketch/blueprint
of the floor plan ready when I arrive. I
also recommend that you be prepared to take notes. Recording is
permitted
however I leave that responsibility to you. Let’s talk about it.
Feng Shui is
5000
years old and in that time it has taken on many different forms,
techniques,
and practices. There is no limit to the
amount of information available, and
each time you have a consultation it will be different. There’s
never enough time, and yet there’s
always enough too.
Feng Shui is also a
process, something that unfolds & manifests in your life over
time.
WHAT
ARE THE FEES AND WHAT DO THEY INCLUDE?
My fees are determined by the totality of the
session
including preparation, travel, time spent together and follow up. In
addition
you will receive a customized information packet with your maps and
schedules. I am happy to discuss my fees
on the phone.
CONFIDENTIALITY
Building
trust in relationships is a cornerstone for my
work. For that reason, I highly respect the confidential information
that is
shared with me. I agree to hold such
information in strict confidence unless given express permission by the
client
to do otherwise.
