The
Realtor's Retreat
Relaxation,
Rejuvenation And Restoration Techniques
to Help You & Your Employees Work More Effectively and Efficiently.
The
Realtor's Retreat is an experience designed to make your staff
more resilient to stress, giving them specific tools to help them relax
the body, quiet the mind, and calm anxious nerves. Along with feeling
great, this retreat will also directly impact your business. You'll not
only gain the appreciation of your staff, you'll be giving them
tangible methods for managing the daily demands of being a real estate
agent.
It's
known that unhappy, dissatisfied and stressed real estate agents can
translate into high turnover, administrative conflicts, unhappy
customers, and diminished productivity.
Consider
these statistics:
- 45%
of all adults suffer adverse health effects due to stress.
- 75-90%
of all visits to doctors are for stress-related complaints or
disorders.
- In
2000, over $150 million was lost by U.S. companies due to
stress-related absenteeism.
But
you don't need statistics to confirm how stress impacts the quality
work in your office. What happens when your staff is unable to
effectively manage the number of tasks in the day? How do they treat
others when they are frazzled? Do they pick up the phone to get
referrals during these times?
Stress
management programs are essential in minimizing the cumulative
and negative affects of stress. These long-term effects disrupt lives
by creating an ongoing state of imbalance. Symptoms of an overload of
stress can result in:
- Chronic
fatigue
- Anger
at those in authority
- Self-criticism
for putting up with real and perceived demands
- Inability
to juggle multiple priorities
- Cynicism,
negativity, irritability
- Errors
in judgment and critical mistakes
- Addictions
or other attempts to self-medicate
- Illness
& Absenteeism
- Major
illness, accidents and disease
It's
vitally important to begin with a retreat from stress. Retreats
provide participants with an opportunity to become aware of their
accumulative stress, to reduce it, and to feel valued and appreciated.
Organizations that provide retreat experiences for their employees on a
regular basis tend to see an increase in employee satisfaction and
productivity. And, over time, retreat experiences help employees build
and maintain stress immunity. This means your staff becomes more
resilient to the demands of real estate, handling everyday stress with
more grace and ease. Successful retreats are those that are carefully
structured to weave together the physical, mental, emotional and
spiritual dimensions of work and life.
THE
PROGRAM
Using gentle hatha yoga, music, movement, art, guided imagery,
meditation, self-reflection and various individual, small & large
group exercises the participants will have many opportunities to let go
and have a deep, personal experience of relaxation and inspiration.
Boundaries, clearly stated at the beginning will help establish trust
and provide safety. The mind/body connection will be stimulated by the
combination of lecture and experiences. And, there will be
ample time allowed for individual processing as well as group
processing.
